Another open house comes to an end at the Laramie Depot. Thank you to all of the visitors who showed up to the event and the volunteers who made it possible. Below are some of our favorite photos from the weekend.

Amtrak 311

Amtrak 311 sits in staging with the Pennsylvanian as it awaits its turn around the layout. Luckily no passengers were delayed in the making of this photograph.

Amtrak 311 hits the mainline and runs through the new intermodal section of the layout crossing paths with the California Zephyr going in the other direction.

Junior Conductor Layouts

The Junior conductors are working on interactive layouts for the museum. A great opportunity for all to take a turn at running a railroad.

An M10000 slows down to move through the crossovers at the yard.

UP Doodlebug

While never run by the Union Pacific, a doodlebug would have made a great snowbus for bringing crews back to base when impending snowstorms were on the way.

F7s in Warbonnet

F7s in the Warbonnet livery pull the superchief through the new intermodal section of the layout.
